UA Green

Under Armour's goal is to fuse performance products with green technology. The UA Green products today are made from recycled bottles. Under Armour dose this because recycled materials help prevent waste to landfills and the need for raw materials to be made into fossil fuels. In 2011 Under Armour estimated that they would convert over 2,000,000 of plastic bottles into performance products.Under Armour uses about up to 4 plastic bottles in each piece of apparel, and they want to increase the number. Under Armour also wants to improve the manufacturing, packing, dying, printing, and other parts of their products.Under Armour also is trying to find ways to reduce the amount of energy they use to run the business.Since 2011 Under Armour factory stores have been built or changed to Green Standard, based on globally recognized protocols, each building has energy efficient lighting and equipment recycled displays. Under Armour is still trying to improve their products and stores to make them even more green!
